Plankton Tarot

This deck is not a tool for prediction. It does not stabilize meanings. Instead, it draws on the key elements of ecosystem modeling: uncertainty, emergent behavior, systemic constraints. Operating as an interface, it moves between what can be known and what insists on remaining diffuse. It was created to offer a different kind of attention: to the flows, entanglements, and cycles of life. Rather than seeking certainty, the deck invites participation in ecological awareness, playful reflection, and care for multispecies systems. Each spread forms a temporary ecosystem, where relations between beings, and processes become visible.

Drawing from planktonic life, the cards engage with both beings and processes telling stories of drifting, blooming, coupling or dissolving. By moving across scales, from microscopic to planetary the cards are always already in relation. To read this tarot is entering a field of entanglement and inhabit it momentarily.
