Multiple Ocean Truths

MULTIPLE OCEAN TRUTHS follows a scientific expedition through the Mediterranean
aboard the research vessel Meteor. Scientists and crew speak with equal weight of lives lived between instruments and ocean, of sediment cores that render millennia legible, of measurements taken blind, of a ship that becomes a second home. 

The film connects two forms of encounter with the sea, the scientific, the human and the humanitarian, without resolving them into one. Both confront the same recognition: the ocean does not answer. It does not reward attention, and it does not mirror intent. What returns to the deck are fragments. What remains below is a planet.
